Which River?

Trying to decide which trip is best for you depends on many factors. What species you want to fish for, when you are available to travel, what trips are available, what river is the most remote, most scenic or offers the most species at one time.

Over the years we have gained valuable knowledge about the rivers we operate on and would be happy to discuss each river's possibilities with you and how it can fit into your plans, please call toll free at 877-235-2647 toll free or you can contact us by email.

The Tikchik River, remote and beautiful this Wilderness river is a naturalists delight and a fly fishers dream.

Located in a remote and beautiful setting, the Tikchik River offers an exceptional opportunity to experience the Alaskan wilderness. Flowing clear and fast through spectacular back country tundra valleys, rich in wildlife, this river is packed with large arctic grayling and if you time it right some excellent rainbow trout fishing, but as with many runs in Alaska timing is critical.

Pink, chum and red salmon appear in midsummer, and spawn in the river through the fall, attracting numerous brown bear that may be observed fishing and foraging along the river. For both the fisherman and the naturalist, the Tikchik offers an unsurpassed wilderness experience that balances outstanding fishing, with wildlife viewing and solitude. Our most highly recommended trip!
