Alaska Rainbow Adventures is a leading provider of the premier Alaska float fishing expeditions located in Alaska's Bristol Bay region, famous world-wide with anglers for spectacular fishing. We offer high quality guided float trips. Whether on our Intimate rivers program where we carry less gear and amenities in order to access smaller streams or one of our deluxe odysseys where we bring everything including the on river version of the kitchen sink. An Alaska Rainbow Adventures float trip will satisfy your quest for the ultimate Alaskan experience.

(Learn More about what to expect with Alaska Rainbow Adventures)

Mother Nature did it again in 2008, another season of outstanding fishing in the Bristol Bay region of Alaska and the rivers Alaska Rainbow Adventures operated on this last season. Many of our repeat clients have concluded that fishing is the best they have seen in the years they have been angling in these waters. They claim they have never seen such large healthy fish, or experienced the abundant numbers we are seeing today.

Right now is the time to plan your 2009 or 2010 fishing trip with us on famous Alaskan waters such as Moraine Creek, The Alagnak and Togiak Rivers or on waters specially selected for our Intimate Rivers Program which includes trips to Northwest Alaska for Huge arctic char and the Tarpon of the north “sheefish” (Call for information as there are limited spaces for these special trips!). These select custom trips are usually on smaller less traveled streams with appropriate gear to get you up close and personal with trophy salmon, trout, char and other species. As always, provided with the personal service and attention to detail that has long been a hallmark of an Alaska Rainbow Adventures odyssey, but make your plans soon as the best dates are booking fast..

Our Scheduled odysseys are offered on the Alagnak, and Togiak rivers. Others waters such as the Moraine, American, Chilikadrotna, Tikchik and Koktuli are also available. Our scheduled trips are a usually a week long in duration, but we can accommodate those groups wishing to do longer or shorter trips on any of the rivers on a custom basis. Now available are half, full and two day trips on waters north of Anchorage for salmon and trout in association with some of our favorite local Alaskan guides. By offering trips of varying length on different waters we are able to offer you a wide variety of angling experiences to choose from, if your interest is fly-fishing for trophy rainbow trout, casting to explosive pacific salmon fresh from the sea, or battling arctic char on a stunningly scenic river, we have the knowledge and experience to make your Alaskan dreams come true. Let us know what you desire and we will work hard to put you on the type of expedition that most closely matches your expectations.

For those of you looking for a do it yourself trip and were just checking us out for information we have a couple of new alternatives to our fully guided Alaska float trips.  If you have the experience to row your own raft,  set up camp, do your own cooking and the like  call for more information and save a bundle. 877-235-2647

Why a float trip? Well the fishing is better on a Alaska Rainbow Adventures wilderness float trip because we are on the rivers we float at the peak of the salmon runs or during times when availability is highest for native species like the rainbow trout for which our trips are famous. With us you also have increased fishing time after all you couldn't be any closer to the fishing and we camp right on the river at the best available fishing holes. Think about this, you do not even have to go back to the lodge at 5 O’clock because you are already there right on the river. You are more then welcome to fish as much as you like and many of our guests join us for this reason alone! We can put you on the best fishing holes, one after another all day long as you to present your hook to fish in the most effective way from one of our custom catarafts. We cover a lot of water on our trips much of it where jet boats and airplanes simply can not go. Our guides will lead you through about 10 miles of river a day, just the right balance of wade fishing from the bank as we stop at hole after hole and of drift fishing from the boats. Our float trips also give you more opportunities for relaxing and seeing wildlife in their natural surroundings without being run off by the sound of an approaching outboard engine. The "experience" shared by a group of people on an adventure through remote, breath taking wilderness is something that you will remember forever. Many of our guests return year after year renewing friendships formed on the river with their guides and other guests they met on Alaska Rainbow Adventures float trips.
