schedule information

Most of our trips are booked on a first come, first served basis and are scheduled after discussing what your needs and desires are in a Alaska fishing trip. You know, such things as what river interests you, the dates your kitchen pass from your wife are good for,  if you want to catch kings or fall rainbows, and any other factors that may come into play.  While we recommend starting your trip somewhere in the middle of the week, actual start dates change as our actual list of trips is built for the season to come, due to your needs as clients, the logistical realities of operating in remote areas of the largest state in the country and we really just do not like starting trips on weekends when most everyone else does.

Currently the 2012 Schedule looks kind of like this list below. Some trips are listed as we believe them to be a excellent time to be on that particular water, or as in the case of our Goodnews river trips, those are the dates we have scheduled for the 2012 season and  are fixed by permit. Some of the trips have folks already booked on them but they are not full and they will say "available" if there are spaces 'open' that you can book,  "sold out" means the trip is full, "wait list"  means we are awaiting confirmation and deposits on spaces that have been spoken for, but may become available and you can get on a list in case they do become available.

Keep in mind that we can put together "additional trips", perhaps on dates your group needs for travel to Alaska that just do not work with what we have listed here.  So it is best to pick up the phone and discuss the trip you are looking for with us as you will likely find we can accommodate you!

Other Information

If you have been with us on a trip in the past the following applies.

Notice:

If you received an rate quote from us prior to our rates going up on January 1st and you want to book the trip at the rate you were quoted, please contact us and let us know as in most cases we will honor that quote!
Don't forget as you make plans to visit Alaska in 2012 that felt sole wading boots have gone the way of the dodo bird in Alaska and are banned in Alaska waters as of January 1, 2012!

terms & conditions

  • Most ‘scheduled’ trips start somewhere in the middle of the week beginning right after June 8th when the season opens in the Bristol Bay Drainages for rainbow trout fishing

The reason we start and end our trips mid week is that it gives everyone a better Alaska experience as most operations around the state changeover on or near the weekend and resources are more available be it aircraft, hotels etc at mid week. This said however if you can only travel on the weekend please call us and we will be happy to schedule a trip on the dates you desire. All of our trips are booked on a first come, first served basis and are subject to prior booking. Unless you have called, reserved them, and followed up with a deposit they may be gone.

Trips can be scheduled for groups of 2 to 12 persons in size*, if you are a single angler, couple or pair, please ask about joining one of our existing trips we can let you know what is available and put you on our email list that keeps you up to date on availabilities and help put a trip together. Call today and book your Alaskan adventure! *Togiak river trips are limited to six guests by permit. Available spaces on scheduled trips subject to change, again please call for up to date information as it changes often.

Deposits and Cancellations: A deposit of 50% of the trip cost is required in order to confirm a booking once confirmed you are responsible for the entire full balance even if you do not participate in the trip for any reason. This deposit is due within 15 days of reserving space on any trip. Payment can be made by check/pay-pal transfer (Credit cards payments can be sent via Pay-Pal + a 3.5% surcharge) or wire-transfer. Please note that all payments are non-refundable. Payment of balance in full is due no later than 60 days prior to the start date of your adventure or June 1st whichever comes first even if you are unable to participate for any reason. If you are unable to participate for any reason you may transfer your interest to someone else who is able to participate, while we may be able to help fill the space for you, do not assume that we will. The purchase of trip insurance is strongly recommended. In the event that you cancel or fail to participate in the trip, all monies received are not refundable. Receipt of deposit by Alaska Rainbow Adventures means you agree to these terms and conditions. All reservations made within 60 days of departure require that payment be made in full at the time of booking. "Special offers" must be paid in full at the time of booking , unless other arrangements have been made, and can not be applied to trips already under contract. If for any reason payment has not been made in full prior to the trip start date participation on the trip will not be allowed and no monies will be refunded.

In the event that Alaska Rainbow Adventures cancels for reasons within our control, and the trip cannot be rescheduled, a full refund will be made as soon as possible. If we cancel for reasons out of our control we will be happy to reschedule for the earliest available date.

Upon receipt of your deposit, you will receive a supplemental list with detailed information about your trip and what to bring. Rates and terms are subject to change without notice unless they have been confirmed by receipt of deposit(s) by Alaska Rainbow Adventures. After trips completion no refunds or credits will be given for any reason.
